Films have first screening

21st June 2023

The films made by Cabin students at Melbourn Village College and St Peter's School were shown at the 'Big Trouble Little Pictures' Total Arts Film Festival  at The Junction in Cambridge last night and will be screened again this evening

Students enjoyed seeing their work on the big screen.

Melbourn's film  was the juice 'The Juice Detective' about how only water is allowed in school but someone was snearking in juice, while St Peter's 'Attack of the Noodle Snake' was a detective thriller with Berry and her team on the case of the lurking giant noodle snake. But who created it - and what happens when they are discovered.

Lizzie won an award for Best Actress, which MVC Cabin Lead Vinne French collected on her behalf, while the St Peter's film collected the Tess Downes Award for Artistic Vision, with one student commenting: "now I can say I have starred in an award-winning film production!"
