The Cabins

The need for Cabin provision in Cambridge has been growing since we began in 2006.  When the first Cabin was officially opened at Comberton, it was for set up for 12 students. Eleven years later the Trust opened a Cabin in Melbourn to cater for students from Hertfordshire and for girls with ASC.

We added a further Cabin for those students living nearer Huntingdon in 2019 at St Peter's School. During these years we had had students starting to attend our Sixth Form at Comberton and so a further Cabin for post-16 students was added.

The latest development, in 2020, was the Primary Cabin at Gamlingay Village Primary.

We are aware that we are not keeping up with the need for Cabin provision in the County and are making plans to continue to provide more provision in the future.
